Couch surfing

Right now, I'm writing you from my first temporary home of the week.

I decided to stay up at school for a couple of more days after I moved out. Luckily, my friends have been sweet enough to let me crash at their places.

The takeaway from this post is that I'm willingly choosing to stay at school. For the past two years, my OCD made me scared to be up here. Voluntarily staying here even after classes end is a big accomplishment for me. My parents are shocked, my therapist is shocked, and honestly I'm shocked... but we are all pleasantly surprised. I never thought I could develop a happy mindset and feel safe/comfortable at school. All of this hard work is definitely paying off, and I couldn't be more proud.

I'm already anticipating coming back to school from summer break. I'm so excited.

And honestly, these couches have been pretty comfortable.

As always, I hope you're doing well.
