If you're reading this, you're distracted

Anxiety manifests itself in a variety of different ways.

But every type of anxiety has one thing in common... they all SUCK.

When I’m feeling anxious, the best thing for me is to distract myself. And for most of my life, I’ve turned to music to do so.

You can tell my state of mind just by listening to me play the piano, and of course, I love to sing.

I don’t consider myself as being very articulate, so music is my way to express what I’m thinking and feeling. Good ole Beethoven and Mozart served as my therapists for a good bit before I finally reached out for professional help.

Yeah yeah yeah, I know that not everyone can be as musically inclined and talented as me (I joke, I joke)… But if music doesn’t have the same effect on you as it does on me, there are so many other ways to help decrease your anxiety.

Like I said before, the best advice I can give is to just DISTRACT YOURSELF. Whatever you like to do, whatever makes you happy, whatever gets your mind off of the bad stuff… please, do it.

Aside from music, whenever I’m feeling anxious, I usually try and hangout with my friends. Unsurprisingly, I soon forget my initial worries and my anxiety level decreases significantly.

Sitting in your room alone = overthinking = anxiety

Do me a favor and try distracting yourself as soon as you feel an anxiety attack coming on.
