Short and sweet

I can't recall a time in my life when I was truly free of intrusive thoughts -- clear minded, if you will. Yeah, I know that the typical mind isn't ALWAYS clear, but I can assure you that my brain has never been quiet.

My intrusive thoughts have become more sticky with age, meaning that my OCD has progressively gotten worse. This is due to the fact that I never sought treatment.

Since treatment, there have been times where my anxiety has decreased enough for me to feel at ease. I look forward to feeling this way more often... but this won't happen unless I continue to practice what I've learned in therapy.

And as always, have a wonderful Thursday.
